Nazareth is a lovely village in Galilee where Jesus, Mary and Joseph had an environmentally lifestyle. Jesus cured the sick with uncontaminated materials of nature. Taking the cue from Jesus of Nazareth, the Nazareth Nature Cure Centre, Kunnoth has been providing excellent nature cure services. It was established on 25th May 1987 with a view to propagating the idea of the natural way of living among common people.

The brain-child behind the venture was the late Rev. Fr. Joseph Madakkasserry, the former director of Tellicherry Social Service Society. It is adjacent to the Mary Matha tailoring centre. The institution has an aura of prayer in a green campus.
